Mission
Myanmar Agape MinistryMyanmar Agape Ministry was established in 1976, at Mogok town, east of Myanmar, sharing Christ’s mission: “To preach the gospel to the poor, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are downtrodden, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19. Their objectives are: to proclaim verbally and authentically, the Gospel to those who live in the inner city of Mogok; to foster community development through meeting spiritual, physical, educational and economic needs; to develop home-grown leadership through spiritual, vocational, and economic training; to develop strong family units through pastoral care, counseling, and discipleship; and to join with other Christians to minister to the community needs. Myanmar Agape Ministry is serving of ministry opportunities, including: a weekly community outreach services, summer weekly camp, Bible teaching for young people, children ministries, three months Bible training courses, crusade and fasting prayer groups for men and women.

In mission, we demonstrate the love that has been bestowed upon us through Christ Jesus, not necessarily by our words, but by our very lives and actions.”
